Trapped Miners
If anyone is watching the news now, the last Chilean miner is finally going up the chute up onto land. You would think that everyone would want to be the first one out, but whoever came out last would hold the world record for longest time spent trapped in a mine.

Election 2010
Today I volunteered at my local congressional candidate's campaign headquarters by making phone calls to people in the town I live in to see which candidates they were voting for. It was funny when I called people I knew, and because I couldn't say who I was on account of their choices possibly being changed by my affiliation, they either made up excuses not to talk or just didn't answer the phone, something they never would have done if they knew it was me. It was very interesting for my first time doing something like that. I also ended up getting great pizza and wings that people donated, so in the end it was a great experience. I also went to a debate on Monday for the candidates for congress, and that was also very interesting. Please feel free to comment on any posts.

Indescribable?
It's funny how people say something is indescribable, then they attempt to describe it.

Runescape
I recently started playing Runescape again, which is one of the world's biggest online games. You basically get to make your own character, then try to become the most powerful warrior or whatever you want to be. There are hundreds of quests, mini games, and side-attractions that make the game really fun. You can also make your own or be part of a clan. I made a clan called, of course, Wongovia, so if you decide to make an account please join. I heard from some people in my school about a spin-off on Runescape named "TwistedScape". All it does is make you level up super fast, which takes all the fun out of the game. Check back for updates!

Finished with Avatar
I finally finished the series my friend told me to see called Avatar: The Last Airbender. First I saw the movie which at first I thought was really good. When I began to watch the series beginning with the second season (The movie summed up the first season), I could immediately see that the producers cut many key parts out of the story in the first season that was crucial to understanding the rest of the series. Other than that though, it was a great movie with lots of action, and I would recommend it to people of all ages. I watched the second and third seasons on netflix instant watch on my computer, than went back to see season one in cartoon form. Another way that people produce movies and ruin the plot. One of the only movies that I have seen that goes along with the books or the TV show it was based on was Harry Potter. Keep checking back for updates on this blog every day or two.

Legend of the Guardians
I heard that a new movie was coming out called Legend of the Guardians, so I started reading the series that it was based on that was gathering dust on my shelf for two years. It's a pretty good series, but I think it won't be too good when the movie comes out. I'm still going to see it because I love 3D movies, and the graphics look amazing. I need some topics that I can post about, so see the new contact page to find my e-mail.

Mockingjay
I just finished the last book in one of my favorite series, The Hunger Games. It was called Mockingjay, and I would recommend it for anyone 12 and older. It is an exciting series about a future society that every year forces kids from each of its 12 districts to fight to the death in an event called the Hunger Games. The country is ruled by the Capitol, and it makes the districts compete in the Hunger Games as part of a treaty when the districts' revolution failed almost 75 years before. It is a great series and it focuses on a 16-year old girl named Katniss, who was selected to compete in the Hunger Games. I hear they are making a movie on it, and I hope it doesn't ruin the series like when they made a movie about the Spiderwick Chronicles.
